How to Order POS on RTA from Inventory

This guide will walk you through the process of ordering Point of Sale on RTA from Inventory in a detailed and straightforward manner. Each step will guide you on how to complete and submit your orders efficiently.

1. Select Channel

On the home screen, in the top right corner, select the On Premise or Retail Channel.

2. Click "Ready to Ship (Inventory)"

Next, click on Ready to Ship which is also known as Inventory because the items have already been produced and are in a storage facility and ready to ship to your distributors. This year, the items were paid for by the state or key account that pre-ordered the items in October 2023 or March 2024. There will not be any additional charge to your state for these items except for freight and tax when the items ship. However, it should be noted and understood that items are incurring monthly storage fees which is why it is important to ship these items to distributors and not keep them in the storage facility.

3. Use the filters on the left to search for specific items

All items that have been or are currently in Inventory will be shown on this screen. You can filter to a specific brand or business unit or item type within the left filters. You can also search by the sequence number in the top left. The excel document that is now being sent out weekly to Sales by the POS Integration Manager can help you to quickly identify what is available nationally, by state, or by key account. Use this document to sort to the items available and utilize the sequence number, brand, or item type to filter and find the items easily on this screen.

4. Enter brand name or 3 digit code for the brand

For this example, we will search for items in Inventory for La Marca by using the Brand filter.

5. Click "LAM La Marca®"

Choose "L A M La Marca®" from the list.

6. Available quantities by item are shown here

Now, only items that have been available in Inventory for La Marca will be shown. We can see that 113 umbrellas are available in On Hand National inventory. This means they are available for anyone to order. The quantities in the On Hand Territory column show what is available for the Area in which they were ordered. You can hover over these numbers to see the state specific allocations for your Area on this screen.

7. Select the item to add to your order

To add these items to your order cart, first select them on the square box to the left of the image.

8. Select Additional Items as Needed

You can continue to select additional items to add to your order.

9. Click "ADD TO ORDER"

Next, click on add to order to add the items to your cart.

10. Click "VIEW ORDER"

Now, navigate to the "VIEW ORDER" section.

11. Click "Search for an address"

Use the drop down function in the top left to search for the distributor or location where you will be shipping the items.

12. Enter Distributor Name or ABN

For this example, we are going to send items to CSB in Boise, Idaho, so we begin the search with CSB. You can also quickly find your distributor by using their ABN number.

13. Select Distributor

Select the distributor from the list.

14. Enter Order Quantity

Once selected, the distributor will be added and then quantities can be entered here. It is important to note that if an item shows up as Non Compliant, you will not be able to order it. To challenge this or understand why it is shown as Non Compliant, you will need to email SM dash Legal Map at e j gallo dot com to request a change or feedback to understand why the item is listed as non compliant. Often, this is due to how items are used in a state and Compliance may have some questions for you to answer before they make the item available to order in the system.

15. Click "Order Overview"

To review the order, click the "Order Overview" button.

16. Click here to revise the requested delivery date

You can modify the delivery date here, but rush orders will have higher freight costs and be charged to your A&P.

17. Click "Submit Order"

Click on "Submit Order" to finalize the order. Your order will ship within 1-3 business days and arrive within 5-7 business days after the order is submitted.
